Florence Crankshaw

Florence Crankshaw, 72, passed away at her home on Monday, January 7, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2008 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home with burial at Altoona Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Florence was born February 28, 1935 in Fleetwood, Lancashire, England to Irene and James Wayman. She enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, needlework, taking walks, and children, especially babies! She was known for all of her loving kisses.
Florence is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mike; her children, Ian and his wife Cindy Crankshaw, Suzanne Collier, and Stephen Crankshaw; four grandchildren, Ian, Melissa, Brittany, and Amber; and one great-grandchild, Vincent Michael.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association in loving memory of Florence.
