Bruce and I lost touch many years ago, but I will always remember him fondly. He was a good friend of mine in junior high. Bruce was always very kind and protective of me-and not having any brothers it really made me feel special. You are so very right! Bruce loved life and boy was he a kidder! I am sure his children and grandchildren were his life as he had such a soft spot for little ones.I am glad he had hospice care. I work in hospice care in Tallahassee, Fl. and I know the benefits. Please, if you feel the need, let Hospice of Central IA. help you in your grieving also. They are there for you. I know. I was a volunteer for them before I left Iowa, and it really helped me with the grief I have experienced since the death of my husband 10 years ago. I will be praying that you all can find some peace at this sorrowful time. The world is a sadder place today...
