Nancy Ballard

Nancy Ballard, 66, joined the Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House in Des Moines after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She enjoyed all sports, especially baseball and was an avid Yankees fan. She enjoyed socializing with her friends at Prairie Meadows and was a friend to all who knew her.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Tom) Baker and Carol (Ted) Bulens; grandchildren, Christina, Joe, Tommy, Jamie, Tim; sisters, Mary Lou Swale, Ruby (Bill) Elings; Brothers, Richard and John (Tina) Davis; nieces; nephews and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House.
