When I made management at Northwestern Bell/US WEST I sat right beside Dorothy on the Executive Floor. She was consistently kind and genuine in her friendship with her co-workers. You could share things with Dorothy and know she would keep it private within herself, which I always admired about her. We remained friends after retirement and clear up to her death kept in touch now and then with phone calls between us. I just spoke to her in December and had a nice long talk that I will cherish, knowing it would be the last. What a friend -- what a loss.

When I first met Dorothy, I was about to marry her younger sister, Janice.
She and her husband, Jim, made me feel welcome and right at home in the family.
Our two families shared many happy moments together.
She was always pleasant and gracious and concerned about any difficulties I or my family might have had.
We shared some laughs and good times a few years ago on a vacation in Detroit lakes and we shared some good moments on the telephone when she would call Janice and I answered. In spite of her recent health problems, she could still summon an infectious laugh.
I will miss her kindly spirit.
God Bless and comfort Dianne.

I worked with Dorothy when she was secretary to Don Heiliger and I worked for Bill Stauffer at USWEST. She was a gracious lady with a beautiful smile, and I absolutely adored her. Always immaculately dressed, she was pure class in the work place.
She often talked of her children and her dog. I'm glad to see she had a companion in Cricket.
Your family has my sincere sympathy on her passing.
