Marlene Holton

Marlene Holton, 72, passed on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Regency Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Norwalk. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Ankeny Church of the Brethren, 417 S.E. Grant in Ankeny with burial at Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Elkhart. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Marlene was born October 26, 1935 in Bondurant to Harold and Anna (Lane) Fleming. She lived in the Polk City area for 22 years prior to moving to Arkansas in 1990. Marlene had been a member of Ankeny Church of the Brethren and Mennonite /Church of the Brethren in Rogers, AR.
Marlene is survived by her sons, Steven and Jeffrey Holton; daughters, Jill Holton and Deborah (Kelly) Morris; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Holton; son, David Mark Holton; brother, Harold Dean Fleming and her sister, Anna Roberta Fleming.
