Bobbie Swartfager

Bobbie Jo Swartfager, 58, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at Taylor Hospice House from cancer. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street, with burial at Altoona Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bobbie Jo was born on April 12, 1948 to Dorothy and Lindell Johnson in Chariton. She worked at Child Serve in Johnston where she helped special needs children. Her biggest job in recent years though was caring and loving her five grandchildren. Bobbie Jo will be missed greatly by her family and many friends. But we all know she is in a better place called Heaven. Bruce and Bobbie Jo attended Berean Assembly of God Church in Pleasant Hill.
Bobbie Jo is survived by her loving husband, Bruce, her daughter, Brockette (Ricky) Danner of Altoona; grandchildren, Brandon, Braxton, Brayden, Ricky, and Reese Danner; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
