Hugh Webb

Hugh Webb, 87, passed away December 2nd at Taylor Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family.
Hugh was born March 3, 1919 to Claude and Dora Webb of Colfax. He was a graduate of Farrar High School. He married Arlene Norton February 13, 1937. He was a farmer and a resident of Mitchellville for over 60 years. Hugh was a long time member and Elder Emeritus of his church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Arlene, his son Max, four brothers and two sisters.
He leaves behind daughters, Janet Craig of Bowling Green, Ky. and Connie (Merle) Schaver; daughter-in-law, Betty Webb both of Mitchellville; grandchildren, Bill (Samm) Webb, Stan (Mary) Webb, Lorraine (Mark) Beard, Jennifer (Sean) Hawkins, Brad (Jenny) Craig, Andi Bacon, Tammi (Steve) Dillavou, Mike Zook, Steve (Mandy) Zook, Mike (Amanda) Schaver and Susan Pierce; nineteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and many beloved relatives and friends.
His family will celebrate his life with a visitation at Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Mitchellville Wednesday, December 6th from 5-8 p.m.
Services will be held at Mitchellville Christian Church on Thursday, December 7th at 11:00 a.m. with burial at Mitchellville Cemetery.
