Gerald Hayner

Gerald D. Hayner, 75, passed away December 20, 2007 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center with his family by his side after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street Visitation will be held from 11 am until time of the service on Wednesday.
Gerald was born November 4, 1932 in Hampton. He worked as a taxi driver for Ruan and later for Yellow Taxi before retiring. Gerald was a member of Watrous Terrace Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed doing puzzles, listening to his police scanner and country music.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Bev Hayner, his 4 sons, Kevin (Mary), Terry, Dennis and Gary Hayner; his 6 step-children, Tammy McDonnell, Mark, Mike, Gary and John Baxter, Robin Jorgensen; his 3 grandchildren, Anthony, Christopher and Daniel Hayner, his 2 great grandchildren, Nevin and Neava; and many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
