Eileen Smith

Eileen E. Smith, 84, died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Taylor House Hospice. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday December 19, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held later that afternoon at Greentop Cemetery in Greentop, Missouri.
Eileen was born February 14, 1923 in Greentop, Missouri to Wilbur and Vivian Simpson. She moved to the Des Moines area in 1945. Throughout the years she had been a member of Foursquare Church, Maranatha Open Bible, Kingsway Cathedral, Calvary Open Bible Church and most recently had been attending Berean Assembly of God Church.
Eileen is survived by her son, Steve R. Smith of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Smith.
