Shane Olcott

Shane Olcott, 31, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007, in Rockwell City, Iowa. Shane was born on July 11, 1976 in Des Moines, Iowa. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
Shane enjoyed spending time with friends and family as well as training seeing eye dogs.
Shane is survived by his mother, Debra Butters; father, Forrest Olcott; sisters, Debra McCrea, Amy Biegger, Kim Balch, Stacey Haines, Shawnnae Jones and Katina Connor; brother, Jamie Olcott and grandma, Roberta Ellenwood. Shane was preceded in death by his brother, Terrance “Tony” Surber.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa. Friends may visit with the family Thursday, December 13, 2007 from 6 p.m-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Shane.
