Laura Winegardner

Laura C (Falkoski) Winegardner, 84, died Friday, December 1, 2006 at CLC Altoona Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2006 at Rising Sun Cemetery.
Laura was born November 11, 1922 to Eli and Finnette Brooks in Des Moines. She worked the Ordinance Plant during WWII and later at Diamond Laboratories.
Laura is survived by her sisters, Mary Palmer, Irene Zeroni, and Dorothy (Bill) Knight, all of the Des Moines area; and many nieces; nephews; and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Falkoski; second husband, Dean Winegardner; seven brothers; and three sisters.
Arrangements being handled by Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
