Della Marie Haberle

Della Marie Haberle, 80, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Mercy Hospice Johnston. She was born April 3, 1937 to Dewey and Mildred (Derifield) Morris in Mt Auburn, Iowa and graduated from Alburnett High School, class of 1955.

Della moved to Idaho in 1982 where she was a pharmacy technician and a waitress. She was a member of the “Knit Wits” where she was able to do her three favorite things: knit, quilt, and spend time with friends. Della also loved to cook and was always ready to make sure you were fed.

Della is survived by her children, Mark (Julie) Ward and Julie (Jack) Holmes; granddaughters, Amanda Holmes and Jacklyn (Matt) Herbst; brother, George (Diane) Morris; and a host of other family and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Merl Ward; second husband, John Haberle; children, Dale and Lisa Ward; and siblings, Robert, Dale, Charles, John, and Virginia Morris.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Indian Valley, Idaho. A private interment will be held in Greens Grove Cemetery near Center Point, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Indian Valley Fire Department, Indian Valley, ID 83632 in loving memory of Della.
