God bless her soul. I have great childhood memories of visiting Kay and Howard at the Avion in Jester Park as a child. Those were very special days for me and still remain precious as memories.
Aunt Kay was an intelligent, loving, and graceful soul. I will miss her and will never forget her.
My condolences to all that knew and loved her.

We were so sorry to hear of Aunt Kay's passing. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend her funeral but our heart and prayers will be there with all of you. Aunt Kay was our family historian and I learned so much from her and it inspired me to write a book about her Great Grandfather's regiment in the Civil War. I loved talking to her and I remember fondly the times we spent together in Des Moines while growing up. I know that she joins her husband and family in that glorious reunion of all of the saints in heaven. She went to sleep with us and awoke with her Lord and Savior. What a wonderful life. We'll always love you Aunt Kay, and in that remembrance there is eternal life. "Go peacefully into the night, my loving servant and rise with me in the wonders of Heaven!"

Aunt Kay was a big part of my summer memories as a child. We would drive to Des Moines and spend time with family. For some reason, I always remember Aunt Kay in the kitchen baking something. I was lucky to have three Aunts who are pretty special. Aunt Kay, I know you are with Uncle Howard, your brother Pete, Sister Nancy and my mom and dad. What a reunion that must be! My heartfelt condolences to all our family. I wish I could be there to help celebrate a very special life. Sending love.
