Donna Jean (Westmark) Price

Donna Jean Price, 83, passed away on May 4, 2017, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

Born January 10, 1934, to Jack and Cordie Westmark in Des Moines, Iowa. Graduating from East High in 1951. She began raising her family on the East Side of Des Moines before moving to Ankeny. Donna worked various secretarial jobs, retiring from Polk County Health Department as Dr. Wooters secretary.

She is survived by her four children, John Price of Des Moines, IA, Joan (JR) Jaimes of Overland Park, KS, Jimmy (Sally) Price of Urbandale, IA, and Jeff Price of Ankeny, IA; sisters, Joann (Claire) Strohn and Mary (Richard) Keeling; brother, Mike Westmark; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-granchildren; as well as other loving family and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Richard.

As per her wishes, her body will be cremated and a private service for immediate family only will be held at a later time. Hamilton’s Funeral Home will be handling arrangements.
