She was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Highland Park Garden Club and had just published a book of her poetry. At the time of Her death she was doing what she loved best - helping others; most recently through the Visiting Nurse Services.

May peace be with you all in your time of sorrow and desparity, Vicky's life was an inspiration to us all, she lived every moment to the fullest and gave her all to the people who entered her life. Vicky survives in every random act of kindness each and every one of us does. May each and every one of you have the courage to continue on in the spirit of Vicky's life
