Kathleen Marie Moore

Kathleen Marie Moore, 60, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017 after a courageous battle against cancer. She was born on June 4, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa to Pete and Patti Stefani. Kathleen was a supervisor for Principal Insurance and retired after many years of service.

Kathleen enjoyed shopping and the thrill of finding the best deals! She also enjoyed decorating for ALL holidays especially Halloween and Christmas. Few of the things she simply hated and had a fear of were clowns and porcelain dolls. Kathleen was an avid reality tv show fan and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 30 years, Andy; children, Rondi (Paul Chapman) Moore, Jessica Williams, and Peter (Alissa) McDowell; grandchildren, Morganann Jensen, Shea Hites, and Devin Hailey; sister, Georgeanne (Alan) Hornocker; and a host of other extended family and friends.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Patricia Stefani.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines.
