I didn't know Charles, "Pops" personally, but I heard a lot of stories about how he helped our boys grow to be the men they are today. I am so sad we have lost another good one. My sympathy goes to his wife, Sheryl, and all his kids, grandkids, friends and neighbors. He may be gone, but never forgotten.

Pops taught me to be the man I am today. A fisherman. He knew if he could teach me the patience of fishing, I could easily learn the patience life has in store for me. I love you pops, and I will look after mama for you like you asked me to.
