Mildred Heaberlin

Mildred (Cornell) Heaberlin, 85, died Friday, December 1, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Mitchellville Methodist Church.
Mildred was born May 7, 1921 in Des Moines. She was a graduate of Drake University. Mildred was a first grade teacher for 40 years for Mitchellville and Des Moines public schools. She was a caring and nurturing person. Mildred was a member of the Altoona O.E.S. and Mitchellville Methodist Church.
Mildred is survived by her children, Kenneth (Kathleen) Heaberlin and Margret Sexton; grandchildren, Anthony, Dennis R., Dana and Dennis M. and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Earl Heaberlin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to the Mitchellville Public Library.
