Gloria Jean Small

Gloria Jean Small, 62, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.

Gloria was born September 21, 1954, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Lewis and Phyliss Grove Small.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching soaps and The Price Is Right, and going to Prairie Meadows.

Gloria is survived by her companion of 19 years, Clifford Smith, children, Jerry (Jo Lynn) Lund, Lisa (Tracy) Fenton, Todd (Amy) Lund, Josh Smith and Jessica (Hamish) White, siblings, Rose (Rich) Cronk, Shirley Small, Russ (Deb) Small and Rick Small, 26 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Phyliss Small, brother, Thomas “Tom” Small and sister-in-law, Linda Small.

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, with visitation from 9-11 AM prior.
