Mark had a strong faith in the Lord, which guided him in all things. He was a wonderful father and husband and loved having company over to visit. He was a talker and had a passion for world events. Mark was a good-hearted man with a jolly spirit and a good sense of humor.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother Dixie, his siblings Jerry Jr., Steve (Doreen), Chris, and Liz (Tom) Mathews and their families, as well as numerous other extended family and loving friends.
Preceding him in death is his father Jerry Sr.

I want to express our heartfelt sorrow to the family. My grandmother, Irene Selindh Bjork was Mark's grandmothers sister. (We loved Aunt Marge and Uncle Gene!). I remember all the wonderful holiday and summer family get-togethers. May God continue to carry you in his arms.

I didn't know Mark personally but his mom, Dixie, is a dear friend. My heart is broken for her and the family. May God peace surround them and help them heal.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Mark at the Pleasant Hill PO several years ago. He was always so cheerful and a joy to work with. His smile would always brighten my day.
