Dear Kimbra , Maureen & Lisa ,
We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to you . I met Kevin when we worked together at Mt. View Auto Parts, during our time there we became good friends. We worked hard and liked to have a good time after work , we would go to the Pub next door ( Fred's Place) and enjoy a few and have some good laughs. Kevin had a good sense of humor ,I also remember going over to his folks house on Arastradero Road ,they had a nice pool and patio we had some great parties there , in fact thats where we first met Kimbra. I really enjoyed those times. As time went on we kind of both went on our own ways and lost touch for several years. We had re-connected a short time ago and had a chance to get caught up on stuff again. Even though Kevin was having a rough time he still had a good attitude. We will always miss Kevin & he will always be in our hearts.
Rest in peace my Friend!

My dear friend has gone home, where there is no pain, no struggles, no strife.
My tears are not for him, but for the rest of us who will sorely miss him!
Kevin you had the best sense of humor and your laugh when you figured out it was me phone pranking you was so infectious! Made it all the more fun. And the hours at our dining room table playing games, oh how the lot of us kept the neighbors awake til the wee hours of the night! Remember Slap Jack? And Mexican Train? Oh my gosh, we would all hurt the next day, and not from the drinking but the laughter!
And as tough as you tried to be, you were a teddy bear and your love for Kim was so obvious! Like when you guys came up for end of summer at the lake...yah, try as you may, you ended up in that lake serving all of us ladies and feeding us our snacks. Oh you were pretend grumbling at Ron, but you did it and we all loved it!!
But my favorite memory my friend ok there are 2, the time you let me hold your Cal Ripken die cast car, and when you threw Kimbra the surprise party on YOUR birthday.
We love and will miss you.
Kimbra guess you will be getting those calls now my friend!!
Love you

I was Kevin's Caring Corps driver to dialysis for a couple years. During that time he and I developed a friendship and would talk about everything current to each of us. I consider him as a good friend and will miss our times during the drive.I will be out of town this weekend. God bless your family.

Kevin will be dearly missed. I knew Kevin since I was knee high. He worked at Mtn. View auto parts with my dad, Kevin Andersen. My deep sympathies and prayers to the Smyth family. We can find comfort in knowing his sweet soul has been embraced in heaven and cherish the memories we carry in our hearts. He is at peace!
