Sandra Kay Cline (Vaughn)

Sandra Cline, 66, passed away late March 31, 2017, after a battle with brain cancer. She was born on March 8, 1951, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Sammy D. and Beverly (Cross) Vaughn.
Sandra enjoyed gardening, flowers, going to garage sales, spending time with her granddaughters, and she never met a stranger. Sandra was a member of the Eastside Neighborhood Association.
She is survived by her mother, Beverly Vaughn (Cross), her sons, James “Jim” Cline (Beth) and Troy Cline (Nicole), her daughter, Samantha Cline-Hoskins, her sisters, Mary Henderson (Carroll Sr.) and Clara Floyd (Robert Jr.), her brother-in-law, Andrew Ogden, her granddaughters, Ana Cline and Levi Cline, and her nephews and nieces, Michael Floyd, Leana Fry (Tom), Amy Fricke (Joel), Carroll Henderson Jr. (Bobbie), Heather Wheeler (Jeb) and Angel (Greg) Hower.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Sammy D. Vaughn and her sister, Patricia “Patti” Ogden.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Private family burial will take place at a later date at Avon Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to either John Stoddard Cancer Center or to HCI Hospice in loving memory of Sandra.
