I will never forget the Childs. I worked for Carroll, and Jo baked a cake for each person's birthday in the DMPS music department. She was a very generous and kind person. We had some of the birthday parties in their home for each music consultant and myself, who was the music secretary from 1974-77 in the Cowles School Building. Those were very happy times and Jo helped make it so. She will be sorely missed.

To The Childs Family,
Grief can be so hard, at such a sad time, but our special memories of our love one help us cope. As "the God of comfort," God Almighty can fortify us to cope with any sorrow or trouble that life may bring. 2 Corinthians 1:3. With Heartfelt Regret,

I was an Office Education coordinator at Ottumwa High School for 13 years (1975-1988) and have fond memories of Jo who helped me in so many ways. She was a classy lady who once served brunch at our summer convention with a real silver tea set! The DM coordinators worked so hard every year to make our state convention run smoothly and I appreciated that. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
