Billie Johnson, 81, died December 5, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born
January 3, 1926 in West Burlington, IA to Herman and Violet Bailey.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am Monday December 10, 2007 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with visitation from 4:00-7:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Billie was a member of Indianola Hts. Christian Church, C.W.F., and Church Women United. She was Past President of the State PTA Council, Des Moines PTA Council and Past President of Howe and Nathan Weeks PTA. She was a Cub Scout den mother and a member of Chapter 90 Mended Hearts.
Billie is survived by her loving children; Cathie (Ric) Graves of Norwalk, Pat (Mike) Wahl of Norwalk, Jim (Janine) Johnson of Des Moines, Pastor Mike (Angela) Johnson of Carlisle and Pastor Steve (Terri) Johnson of Papillion, NE, 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters; Wanda Sherman and Linda Scott.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, her parents, one sister and two brothers.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Disciples of Christ Basic Mission Finance or
Mended Hearts Endowment Fund.

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It is never easy to let go and say good-bye especially during the holidays. Know that you mom is truely at peace and that there is no more pain and suffering; she is with the Lord. What a strong leader and community resource, I'm sure she will be missed by many!
