Went all the way through school with Ron. He was a real stand-up kind of guy except the one time in grade school when we got into a snowball fight between the boys and the girls and I threw an ice ball. Then he got me back by slugging me and knocked the wind right out of me. It was then that I realized not to mess around with Ron. I'm sure he didn't mean to do what he did. We were too young to know any better! Just thought you would enjoy the story. Connie (Bowery) Thomason-Combs

Your dad was a wonderful man and was a great role model to everyone he encountered.
He was so proud of each and every one of you.

I knew Ron all of his life, he was the son of my cousin Kate Foster. He was always the "good boy" and I have many fond memories of him and his family as well as the larger family including his cousins and grandparents. He became a fine man and police officer.

The Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office and myself, send our condolences to the Foster family. Ron was a great man, the first time I met him, he treated me like he had known me forever. I saw and spoke with him several times and he always treated me like one of his old cop buddies. Great guy, great leader for his family. Heaven gained a great angel ! Fly high, brother !
