I enjoyed Larry's company during trap shoots at the Ankeny Ikes, and other clubs the past 15 or so years.
He was always ready to help a person out if they had problems with their shooting, and has a large family of trappers mourning his loss.

So sorry to hear about Larry. Ted and I lived beside him on Irvinedale for 12 years, he was such a kind soul, always waving at you, he and Ted had many conversations and he was so kind during Ted's illness and passing . We could always count on a smile. God has gained a great soul . Prayers to all of his family at this time??

Larry was very much a part of my young adulthood. He sold me my first rental property on E 13th I still own after 50 years. He helped me with my first cars and found my first Packard a 1947 Clipper. What a great man! I will miss him. I remember fondly Better Brakes card games and sausage sandwiches from Kewpies next door.
