Some of you might like to know, that Marvin started cooking for our family in 6th grade. Our Mom had gone back to work. She said that if he would cook supper, she would do the dishes. That started his passion for cooking, anytime, any place. By high school, he would get up at 4 a.m. on Easter Sunday, to prepare great meals! He always had something cooking! He did creative foods, like unique flavors of pizzas at Methodist or Lutheran Hospital, and rabbit stew, for our families. Christmas meant that he would bring food for gifts. So sorry, he's gone. . . .. . . .

Marvin was one of the first people to welcome me to Methodist Hospital. We had a common tie to Lee County, Iowa and a love for tinkering with food. He is missed very much.
