Kathleen Ollin

Kathleen A. (Sater) Ollin, 53, died December 4, 2007 at Taylor Hospice House from a long courageous battle with throat cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2007 at the funeral home.
Kathy was born February 8, 1954. Kathy and Monte are the owners of the Norwoodville Dairy Treet. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be missed by all her family, extended family and loyal customers.
Kathy is a graduate from Saydel High School class of 1972.
Kathy is survived by her loving, caring husband of 26 years, Monte; daughters, Dawn (Bryan) Lewis, Marsha Ollin (Kevin Bentley); grandchildren, Zachary Lewis, Camran Bentley and Monica Ollin; sisters, Kay Harris, Betty Thompson, Carolyn (Clarence) Walker and Debbie West, all of Des Moines; brothers, Harold (Cori) Sater of Le Claire, IA, Tom (Mary) Sater of Des Moines; brothers-in-law, Dale R. Pyle of Tucson, AZ, John (Kelli) Ollin of Des Moines; and sister-in-law, Cyndi Ollin of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mable Sater, sister, Joy, brother, Jr., father and mother-in-law; two nieces; and a nephew.
