Service Details
David Johnson, 60, passed away at his home in Ankeny on Thursday, March 16, 2017. He was born December 21, 1956, in Iowa City, IA to Dwain and Jacquelyn Johnson.
David is survived by his wife and best friend of 42 years, Ragenia; children, John (Morgan) Johnson and Jennifer (Jason) Schneider; grandchildren, Nash, Vance, and Jacquelynn; father, Dwain Johnson; brother, Mike Johnson; as well as many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacquelyn and brother, Tony Johnson.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of David.

Pam and I are sorry to hear about Dave's passing. Prayers to you and your family. I would like to share what Dave always said to me when he worked at Menards. He said when he went to work at Menards, for the first 6 months he tried to get fired and spent the rest of the time trying not to get fired. We laughed at this all the time. Rest In Peace Dave. You will always be in our memory's.
