Service Details
Burdell Cason, 68, passed away March 7, 2017. Services will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at Corinthian Baptist Church, 814 School Street in Des Moines with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the service at 1:00 p.m.
Burdell was born August 28, 1948 in Glasgow, MO to Margaret and Udell Cason. He served in the US Air Force and then attended Drake University and was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi. He worked in various positions over the years, but retired from the State of Iowa.
He is survived by his children, Robin Cason, Shy (W. Jr.) Jackson, Anthony Cason, Shazasha (Ryan) Cason-Pollock, Latia Cason, Marcus and DaMarko Moore, Jazmine (Markiece)Cason-Sewell, Joeseph and Mandazesha Cason; 15 siblings; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Burdell was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Carl Cason; daughter, Kimishia; and the mother of his children, Blanche Johnson-Cason.

Burrell and family!!
Must love being sent to you from me in Arizona. You Cason's are all so much a part of me and will always will be my family. Growing up together , our life's intertwined with each other in such a special way, I have memories that I will forever cherish! Those are some of the best days of my life on the east side. There was always room in your home for me and my siblings, and it something I'll forever be grateful for!! I so wish I could be there to celebrate Burdells life with all of you,however know this I will be there in spirit with you all. May god continue to comfort all of you as you lay your( our) brother to rest.
