Primitivo Aguiniga, Jr., age 75, passed away on March 7, 2017. He was born on January 13, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Sandy Lambaren (Edgar), Theresa Aguiniga (Nate), Vicky Cross (Steve), and John Aguiniga (Dawn); mother of his children, LaVeta Aguiniga; step-children, Kimberly Mauro, Karla Genovese, Kelli Mauro, and Toni Mauro (Mike); 13 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Janet Cole (Jeff), Bea Negrete (Dennis), Martha Fritz (Kenny), Ramona Fritz (Dennis), George Aguiniga (Shelly), and Janice Bagley (Ron).

Primitivo was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Aguiniga; father, Primitivo John Aguiniga, Sr.; mother, Rose Aguiniga; siblings, Gloria Fritz, Rosalie McCoy, Richard Aguiniga, Robert Aguiniga, and Raymond Aguiniga; step-son, Kevin Saylers; grandchildren, Steven Cross and James Brown; and great-grandson, Taigen Brown.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 13th also at the funeral home.
