I was very fond of Dorothy. She was my mother (Marie Fleischacker)'s cousin. I now see that they were almost the same age and 1 grade apart at East High. I bet they had some fun times growing up together! I know that they kept in touch over the years at the memorable family reunions we had.
You always knew that Dorothy was in the room by her wonderful, sweet, and boisterous laugh! She would always have a smile on her face, and a warm, comforting manner when speaking to everyone. She was such a beautiful lady, too, inside and out. In their later years, I was pleased to be invited to join Mom and Aunt Ebbie to their monthly "club" lunches with the Peterson ladies. What a fun and lovable bunch of gals! I bet they are all back together now in heaven, whooping it up like they used to.
I apologize for my very belated condolences. I don't get the paper, so, I just found out recently at my brother Bill's retirement party. It's a good reminder as we get older now, to live our lives to the fullest, and to enjoy each moment we have left!
Hugs to all of you! Love, Jan(i)e

I grew up on John Patterson Rd. and remember playing all over the neighborhood. Mrs Clark was always nice and friendly to us kids. She was a beautiful lady and I remember all of us girls wanted to look like her when we grew up. Very sorry for your loss.

My heart goes out to Bill Jr., Sue, Mark, and all of their family members over the passing of the dearest soul I was both privileged and honored to know personally as more that just a friend, but as someone who genuinely cared for me, especially as I was growing up next door to she and her family. God bless you all during this season of sorrow which I share in with you in tears and in truth.
