William H. Buck passed from this earth on February 28, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m., at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. A time of fellowship and storytelling will follow in the lower level of the funeral home.
Bill was born October 10, 1957, to Norma J. and William R. Buck Jr. in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Left to lovingly remember him is his father, Bill; sister, Lauri; children, Russell (Amber), Sierra (Kyle), Elijah (Jayme), and Joseph; his former wife, Denise; step-children, Elicia and Brandon; as well as 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma.

Very saddened to hear of Bills passing. Bill had been our neighbor for 11 years during that time we got to know him pretty well as a kind and hard-working man who enjoyed his family and friends. Our condolences go out to his family. May God bless them and help them during this difficult time.
