I was so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I have many memories of Larry as he was my Sergeant when I served on the PCSO's First Watch, Patrol Division. He was a leader, a teacher, and he helped prepare me for the challenges I faced when I left Polk County in 1987 and began a 24-year career with the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. Also, I had the great privilege of working with his son (Dusty) in Explorer Post 78. Given I now reside in western New York, I'm sending prayers for Larry, his friends, and family. I'll miss him, dearly.
