Ronald Verle Exline, 74, passed away at his home February 23, 2017.
Ronald was born May 8, 1942 in Anita, Iowa to Elmo and Eva Exline. He graduated from Anita High School where he participated in football, basketball and baseball. Following graduation, Ronald enlisted in the United States Navy and served until 1965. Prior to leaving for the Navy, he was baptized. Ronald loved to fish, hunt, bowl, and shoot pool. He also enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
Ronald is survived by his children, Don and Cindy; granddaughter, Ashley Sue; sister, Viola Jones; and a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue; sister, Judy; and his parents.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2017 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 28th at the funeral home. Ronald will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Anita, Iowa following the funeral service.

I send my condolences to the family of Ronald Exline. The word of God has many Bible verses that can comfort the family at a time such as this. Revelation 21:4 say "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more,neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.

Sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I have known Ron for more than 38 years and remember playing pool in his basement in high school. Prayers to Cindy and Donnie and all of his friends and family. Your friend, Dave Reinholdt ( stubby )
