Rose M. Jors

Rose Mary Jors, 87, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Valley View Village in Des Moines.

Services will be held at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines. Visitation will be Sunday, February 26, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2017, with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Rose was born July 14, 1929, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Issac and Bertha (Richardson) Wade. She was talented at sewing, crocheting, and quilting. Rose liked spending time with her family and her dog. She enjoyed reading and gardening.

Rose is survived by her children, Bill (Andrea) Jors, Jeff (Susan) Jors, and LaVon (Jim) Stroh, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her sister, Catherine Gates, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Earl Jors, son, Wade Jors, and nine brothers and sisters.
