Larry Allen Barnett, 65 passed away on February 6, 2017 in Des Moines. He was born June 10, 1951, the son of Jerry Barnett and Ruth Reynolds.

Larry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a longtime employee of Firestone where he worked in maintenance. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Larry is survived by his sons, Brandon (Belinda) Barnett and Larry Allen Barnett, II; grandchildren, Emma, Mallory, Kiersten, Seth and Riley; and a host of friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Cheryl VanWyck and Michael Barnett.
