Matthew Edward Seagren, 33, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Matthew was born March 15, 1983, in Des Moines, Iowa.

He enjoyed being with friends, target shooting, having pets, playing video games, and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Seagren; aunt & uncle, Karen and Perry Sikora; cousin, Cathy Sikora Stanek, Elaine Sikora, and Elisabeth and John Warmbrodt.

Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie and Catherine Seagren; great-grandmother, Leah Matthiesen; and aunts, Mary Louise Seagren and Linda Grace Sikora.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Family will greet guests for two hours prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
