Dale E. Paxston

Dale Paxston, 77, passed away on February 2, 2017, in Altoona, Iowa. He was born in Iowa City, Iowa, on January 2, 1940, the son of Fay and Marjorie Paxston.

Dale was a loving husband and proud father and grandfather. He worked in the automotive industry for many years and was an active member of the Machinist Union in Des Moines.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Julia; children, Brenda, Christine, and Steven; two grandchildren, Amanda and Michael; as well as other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dale Jr., and daughter, Tracy Ann.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Lowman Cemetery in Runnells, Iowa.
