I just learned about Lenetta's death. I worked with Lenetta many years as a medical librarian at the State Library of Iowa. I remember that we went to a medical library convention together in Seattle Washington in the 1970's where she introduced me to chinese food. I had never had it before. We had such a good time there. Through the years we worked together through the Polk County Biomedical Consortium and we drove to state medical library meetings together in our younger years. I know that Lenetta much have really loved her job at Mercy because she worked there over 50 years. She will be missed. My deepest sympathy to your family.

To Reginald and other family members of Lenetta Atkins, please accept my condolences. Even though I did not meet Lenetta in person, we talked over the phone and corresponded by letters. I found her to be a very warm and caring person. She will be missed.
