Mark and Lisa - I was visiting my father in Des Moines today and heard your mother had passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. We sure had a great childhood on Bowdoin Street! My parents always enjoyed talking with your mom. I walked by your old house this morning. It brought back lots of memories. I'll keep you in my prayers. May God bless you and your families.

Sherry was very helpful to me preparing me to hold the office of Worthy Matron over at East Gate Lodge. She also was our Organist at that time She invited me into her home on more than one occasion to discuss this and that. We shared a cup of hot chocolate while visiting. I remember how she loved chocolate and her Christmas ornaments. I enjoyed her company. I will miss Sherry. I only recently heard of her passing after the fact.

Sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the Bible's promise at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning
nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

I was saddened to hear of Sherry's leaving earth's shores, but gladdened
to hear of God's glorious welcome. Sherry will be greatly missed by so many loving family and friends, but we will be together again when that long-awaited trumpet blows. Until then, Grace and peace to you.

Sherry and I were high school classmates in Newton. Later she was on an advisory committee at DMACC where I was an administrator. She was always such an enthusiastic and helpful person and a wonderful volunteer. Please accept my sincere condolences--everyone will miss her.
