Peggy Sue Lockridge

Peggy Sue Lockridge, age 58, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 27, 2017. Services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., followed by funeral service at 2:30 p.m.

Peggy was born March 14, 1958, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Dan and Agnes (Moyer) Barnes. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, canning and gardening. She loved cheering on the Green Bay Packers and playing cribbage.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dennis; daughter, Angela Duarte; son, Chris Lockridge; granddaughters, Sara Duarte and Stephanie Lockridge; grandson, Bradley Lockridge; brothers, Bill (Joanne) Barnes and Doug (Tammy) Barnes; sisters, Judy (Jerry) Allen and Adel Sams; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sara Barnes and Melody Jones and her parents.
