Donna R. Gering, 78, passed January 25, 2017 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
Donna was born September 23, 1938 in Des Moines to Wayne and Katherine Walther. She was a computer operator with National By-Products for many years. Donna enjoyed coloring, knitting, going to Prairie Meadows and spending time with her family.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Bob) Harmeyer; grandsons, Josh and Brandon (Jen); great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Carson; her brother, Gary Walther; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2017 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
