Wade Berhow, 54, passed away of lung cancer at his home Tuesday, January 24, 2017, surrounded by his family.
Wade was born June 27, 1962 in Lakefield, Minnesota and was raised by his loving parents, Roger and Nancy Berhow. He graduated from Lincoln High School and joined the United States Army. Wade collected swords and guns but most importantly, he was a devoted family man.
Wade is survived by his wife of 30 years, Pamela; son, Jeremiah (Rachelle) Berhow; grandchildren, Chloe, James and Michael; brother, Dean Berhow; sister, Beth Berhow; half-sister, Jill Kilen; biological father, Jim (Mamie) Kilen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will greet friends Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street from 12 to 2 p.m. followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Pam, I am so sorry about Wade. I think of you often when I am in Des Moines, think about stopping but then hurry home. If you still have the same cell number I will give you a call. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Let me know if you need anything.

Wade and Pam were the only friends I met in the short stay I had in Las Vegas. We kept in touch and we each visited each others homes. Me in Florida and they in Iowa. We had some great times and I will never forget them. Miss you Man.
