Douglas S. Hartzer

Douglas Shawn Hartzer was born October 27, 1964 in Des Moines. He passed away at Taylor House on Monday, January 23, 2017 at the age of 52. Per his request, no services are planned.

Douglas is survived by his son, Bryon (Paige) Hartzer; three grandchildren; mother, Norma Hartzer; brother, Richard Hartzer; sister, Judy Bento; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Hartzer.
