Denise Ingram, 62, passed away at her home Sunday, January 22, 2017.

Denise was born July 5, 1954 in Omaha, Nebraska to Edwin and Darlene Turnquist. She lived her life contributing to what is right, and just, and good. Denise worked in telecommunications and customer service for many years. She had a gift for cooking. She was a caregiver for her mother for two years and loved spending time with her grandsons.

Denise is survived by her husband of 29 years, Alan Ingram; children, Clinton Clark, Kimberley Renshaw, Stephen Ingram and Brian Ingram; grandsons, Timothy and Lukas Ingram; mother, Darlene Turnquist; brother, David (Judy) Turnquist; and a host of extended family and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Turnquist.

The family will greet friends Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. with a time of sharing at 7 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Denise will be laid to rest at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter at a later date.
