I wish to send my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Todd Babberl. I was lucky enough to get to watch him grow from a precious 6 year old boy to a wonderful husband and father of 42. He was handsome, intelligent, kind and funny. May he rest peacefully, with our Heavenly Father, until we see him, again.

I switched cars at the Rail yard in Des Moines with Todd and it was always a pleasure. Even time spent in the "welfare" was always fun with Babbs around. He will greatly missed by many. God Bless.

Such sad news. I extend condolences to all of the dear Babberl family. I was Todd's drama director at Lincoln High. He was always invested in the roles he portrayed. But beyond that, he was an enthusiastic member of the LHS drama community. His sense of humor, upbeat attitude and willingness to work toward getting our production up & running earned him leadership status with his peers & me. The twinkle in his eye and ever present grin will remain a memory forever. I know he will be missed immensely.

I'm very saddened to hear of Todd's death. I worked with him for 11 years on the U.P. He was one crazy cat! Intelligent, witty, dependable. I miss the radio banter, especially his signature "myeah" Gwendy, I never got to meet you, but know this, he loved you and the kids to smithereens. When we hear that whistle blow, offer up a smile and prayer. We'll miss you, dude.

My condolences and deepest sympathy to Todd`s wife and family, too young, too soon. Myself and our co-workers/ friends at the railroad will miss Todd, miss his quirky smile, his alternative but out going attitude, his story telling, his voice on the radio,..........
Todd is finally at peace now, even through it all, he still had a good attitude and a smile on his face, I will miss a good friend.
