Debbie Hall

Debbie Lynne Hall died December 31, 2016, at her home. She was born October 17, 1955, to Rodney and Betty Porter.

Debbie graduated from Saydel High School in 1974. She worked at the US Postal Service for 22 years and retired in 2016.

Debbie enjoyed being outside gardening and spending time with family. She had a positive outlook on life. She always encouraged and supported family and friends around her. Debbie’s pride and joy was her granddaughter, Lilliana. She will forever be Lilliana’s guardian angel.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Dennis Hall; daughter Kari (Dennis) Lamoreux; granddaughter, Lilliana Lamoreux; Kari’s father, Kenneth Cummins Jr.; stepchildren, Deb Hartman, Clay (Kathy) Hall, and Kelly (Shawn) Steinkamp; several step grandchildren; father, Rodney Porter; siblings, Brenda (Scott) Mershon and Mark Porter. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Porter; and sister, Sheryl Porter.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., with a memorial service to begin at 12:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Burial will follow at Berwick Cemetery.
