Patricia Ann Garton

Patricia Ann Garton, 78, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Patricia was born September 11, 1938 to Beulah (Greene) and Raymond Moon in Humeston, Iowa.

Patricia graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1957. She was a member of Sextet, Yonkers teen board and was a Homecoming Queen attendant. Patricia retired from Iowa State Bank after many years of dedicated service.

Patricia is survived by her loving children, Kimberly Martin, Karol (Bruce) Hammer and James Garton; her grandchildren, Amber, Andrew (Cole), Kristin (Phil) and Stephen (Amy); four great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Curler; brothers, Gary (Donna) Moon and Kenneth (Linda) Moon; half-brother, Jimmie (Nan) Rickey and many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son in-law, Albert Martin and great-grandson, Bradley.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
