I started working beside Pat at Delevan in 1963. She always had a smile and talked a lot, mostly
about her daughter, Sheila, her pride and joy. My sincere sympathy for Pat's family. "Pete" as we called her will always be remembered as the lovely, happy lady I was privileged to have known.

Grandma Pat will be remembered for her love for family, friends, and the children she served at Mitchell and South Union Elementary. I am a teacher at South Union and I was blessed to know this amazing woman!! She always had a smile on her face and kind words on her lips. She was so supportive when I lost my parents, even though she didn't know them. I loved to listen to her stories and to see the joy on her face when she was spending time with the students. She was always asking if there was something more she could. She had an amazing amount of energy and enthusiasm, especially for someone her age. I'm glad I got to visit her last summer on her birthday with some of the other teachers. Take comfort as you call to mind the wonderful memories you have of time spent with her, and knowing that she is with God in Heaven. Take care.
